HAIR TIPS:

Transitioning your hair from being chemically processed to natural can be difficult.  To make this transition easier, we suggest using a hydrating moisturizer daily.  Additionally, conditioning is an important factor in maintaining healthy hair.  We suggest deep conditioning at least once every two weeks.

To minimize split ends and breakage, trimming your ends is a must.  You should aim to have your hair professionally trimmed every six weeks.

In between salon services, we suggest an avocado mask to maintain the integrity of your hair luster and shine.  Mix one ripe avocado with one egg white.  Add a tablespoon of olive oil and coat your hair.  Leave on for 2-30 minutes and rinse.  Shampoo and style as usual. (If you have highlights, we recommend substituting olive oil for almond oil or jojoba oil as olive oil could lighten your highlights).

If you use heating tools to style your hair regularly, using a thermal protector is very important as consistent heat can cause severe damage to your locks.

Certain medications can cause your hair to thin and break.   Biotin and Vitamin B supplements can help protect and strengthen your hair after experiencing thinning and breakage.

(of course you should consult with your doctor prior to taking).
